Coronavirus (Covid-19) – shaped like a crown- has become a global pandemic.

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses which can be the cause of illness or death of animals and humans.

Covid-19 is a new type of coronavirus which originated in Wuhan of China in 2019. Wuhan is a city in China and there is a seafood market in this city. This Covid-19 originated from this seafood market. Since then, this fatal and contagious virus has started to infect one person to another through the droplets of sneezing and coughing.

The symptoms of Covid-19 are cough, fever and severe shortness of breath. Covid-19 can cause severe respiratory problems, kidney failure or death.

Especially, those who are old and those who are suffering from diabetes and heart problems are more vulnerable to this disease.

At present, Covid-19 has spread nearly in 200 countries and millions of people around the world are being infected with it. Approximately, 4000 people have died in China & Italy has overtaken China. This Covid-19 is creating panic in all the continents of the world and the bigger cities, famous places and even religious places have been locked down. Our country is not free from this Covid-19 either. World Health Organization (WHO) has declared it as a pandemic.

No antidote to Covid-19 has yet been discovered. The scientists of the whole world are working hard and the developed countries are spending billions of dollars in order to discover the antidote to it.

Since there is no antidote to Covid-19, prevention is the only way. According to WHO, washing hands with soap or hand sanitisers for twenty seconds after touching anything or anyone, using facemasks, staying at home, avoiding public gatherings and drinking water frequently are important for the prevention of it.

 

At last, it can be said that where the journey of Coronavirus will end is unknown. But, it can be hoped that Almighty Allah will take pity on his best creation, humans. At the same time, we have to create awareness of our own existence.

02.   Coronavirus (Covid-19)


Coronavirus is a new type of disease which is similar to a common cold disease. It is a new strain that is discovered in Wuhan, China in December 2019. In early 2020, World Health Organization (WHO) identified a new type of 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) and name the disease Covid-19. After China, the outbreak has been spread quickly around the world. At first, it was proved that coronavirus infects only animals, not any humans. But now it has been found in the human body. Common signs of infections included respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness syndrome, kidney failure and even death. To avoid/prevent this infectious disease we should do the following:

a.  Washing our hands frequently 
b.  Wearing facemask before going outside 
c.  Avoiding crowded areas 
d.  Covering mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing. 
e.  Avoiding close contact with anyone showing symptoms of Coronavirus

 Finally, if anyone is infected with this virus, he/she should take home quarantine for 14 days and take potential medications approved to treat the symptoms of Covid-19.

প্রথমেই মনে রাখতে হবে যে ইংরেজি হচ্ছে একটা ভাষা, যা চর্চা করতে করতে আয়ত্ব করা যায়। যেকোনো ভাষাই শেখার জন্য চারটি ধাপ থাকে,  যেমনঃ  01. Reading  02. Writing  03. Listening  04. Speaking সহজ ভাবে যদি বলি, যত বেশি বেশি Listening করবেন তত দ্রুত আপনার Speaking এ Improve করতে পারবেন। এছাড়াও, Speaking এর ক্ষেত্রে নির্দিষ্ট একটা Topic বা বিষয়ে Listening এর পাশাপাশি নিজে নিজে বলার চেষ্টা করতে হবে। কারো সাথে Practice করতে পারলে বা বলতে পারলে অর্থাৎ এক-দুই জন পার্টনার থাকলে এক্ষেত্রে আরও ভালো হয়। যত বেশি বেশি Reading ও Listening বুঝতে পারবেন তত দ্রুত Writing এ Improve করতে পারবেন। আবার Writing এর ক্ষেত্রে প্রতিদিন কিছুনা কিছু লিখতে হবে এবং সেটা অন্য কাউকে দিয়ে অর্থাৎ  ভালো লিখতে পারে এমন কাউকে দিয়ে Check করিয়ে নিতে পারলে লেখায় দ্রুত উন্নতি করা সম্ভব হয়। এছাড়া, Writing এর জন্য Online থেকে Grammarly এর সহায়তা ও নেওয়া যেতে পারে। Writing এর জন্য English এ Grammar যতটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ Speaking এর ক্ষেত্রে Grammar ততটা না জানলেও সমস্যা নেই। Speaking টা হচ্ছে আপনি আপনার সামনের লোকটাকে বুঝিয়ে নিতে পারা বা
